  4. Does anyone know if Jamex springs kit which is meant for BH5 (Legacy Wagon) will fit BE5 (Legacy Sedan) as well?
  5. Hi guys, so i've searched everywhere and hoping someone can help me out here. Got a 2001 BE5 Legacy TT Sedan and after upgrading the exhaust so does anyone have cat back or turbo back systems for these cars at all? Can PM me to discuss the price and stuff.. Thanks ;D
  6. Just an update- Fitted AFSensor in and didn't have to do anything as it reset itself so car's running healthy again. Thank you all who helped with suggestions ;D
  7. Hi does this include 2001 BE5 Legacy RSK Twin Turbo? Thanks ;D
  8. My mechanic quoted me $300 for AF sensor and dealer has it for $200 even if it is more expensive than retail. I dont like putting in used parts unless I absolutely have to so trade me isn't an option. By plugs i'm guessing you mean the black ones under the dash as opposed to the green ones which are for self diagnostic right?
  9. Thanks ;D Found one from subaru dealer for $200 bit pricey but atleast it will be genuine. Have a quick inquiry, do you need to remove the battery before installing new one of these? Or can you just install it without removing battery and car detects a new sensor automatically? Thanks again ;D
  10. Hi guys, so my cars decided to go into Limp home mode yesterday and has check engine light on which puts out code 23 (ie. Air flow sensor Problem) Quick question - does anyone know how much should an Air flow sensor and O2 Sensor for a BE5 Legacy RSK should cost? Any advice on where to get one from at good price in wellington area? Thanks ;D
  11. haha funny u say that had a R34 GTT sedan and it had lots of grunt but even with TCS on used to slide around in the dry.
  12. Yeah well my mistake, i actually meant B4 rsk vs 2003+ EURO R accord. Integra and civic are not same class of cars as b4 so only talking about 4door sedans here.
  13. So my mate and me been having this debate about which of these cars is faster. Since this is a race section, id thought id ask this question. What do you all reckon will win in straight line and on a track and why? A. B4 RSK Manual example http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/subaru/legacy/auction-465209715.htm OR B. EURO R Accord example http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/honda/accord/auction-438582884.htm THANKS
  14. My First Scooby And I'm Lovin It ;D NZ New, not JDM which I think is kinda rare, 2001 RSK Manual sitting on ADVANTI 17's
  15. If I may, try Beans auto in lower hutt. I got my b4 done from there and charged me $700 incl belt, tensioner, idler, and labour.
  16. yup $600 includes all parts and labour - you got idlers, tensioner, seals, belt and waterpump , he said they are really good quality same as OEM stuff as hes been using them in other subaru's without any problems... Ive been getting mechanical stuff done from them forever and havnt let me down once.
  17. If you havnt already, try Bean Auto Services on Pretoria Street. Just got my 100k service done including idlers, tensioner, cambelt, seals etc for $600.. Having worked on many subies, they know what they are doing
  18. Well its a monoblock (1ch) amp so essentially if I understand it correctly, just connect mono L(or R) RCA from the amp to mono sub pre-out at the back of the headunit?
  19. So since there is only single sub pre out as opposed to L+R pre out on amp, how would i connect them up?
  20. Hi everyone. First off thanks for viewing the post and feedback in advance.. Now whats been puzzling me. I have pioneer pioneer gm-d7400m Monoblock Amplifier and Sony 1300watt subwoofer. The amp has L+R Pre-Out RCA input. On the back of my headunit, I have 3 RCA inputs: Front L+R Pre out , Rear L+R Pre out and single SUB Pre out. What is the single SUB Pre out at the back of the headunit for? Is it for an active subwoofer? Should I match and connect L+R pre-out on my amp to L+R (front or rear) at the back of the headunit? Sorry if ive confused anyone.
  21. from what ive heard, after they posted picks with stolen rides on their fb page and had a good laugh about it, they did get arrested for it soon after that. Knowing NZ fu$ked up law, they probably got bail easy.
  22. ;D really loving the sound of GREDDY Type RS BOVs if anyone has them for sale, PM me Also want to do a Boost Gauge + water Temp gauge install, anyone in lower hutt/welly region can help me with that? Ive done I.C.E. work alot but never engine work so wanting to learn .
