The clutch fork spring will not affect the pedal return though it is important. I had the same problem recently... I bled the clutch a few times and each time it would fix it for about five minutes. I then replaced the slave cylinder and it was fixed mostly but still felt a bit weird... but then my pressure plated broke as well. So I am unsure if both things were broken or just the pressure plate. Probably both with this car... every mechanical part in the engine bay has needed some attention in the last year.

Sure why not? There's nothing a Subaru owner needs more than a good deal on oil... and petrol.

You could have it coming out in front of one of the front wheels... as long as the turbo position suited that... again not sure what schA says about that.

Entered it into it's first sprint! lol... sounds more like the woman's rules to me. First get yourself a really expensive impractical toy, then worry about where the F*** you are going to put it and how the F*** you are going to pay for everything... and a nice tidy garage doesn't sound like a very relaxing place to hang out to me.

Inner CVs? I think he may be confused... sounds like the outer CVs or one of the diffs itself. I would inspect and re-grease all the CVs, inner and outer... see if it fixes it.

Should be a huge improvement from before the rebuild... the dyno plot looks very similar but the CR is now higher, plus properly dialled in cams and a fully balanced short block.
