  1. or mystique... basically, for a shopping trolley... any brand new tyre is good enough. I have kingstar and mystique on my legacy wagon and I throw it around all over the place and they a fine.
  2. Obviously you remove the original rear brake lines completely.
  3. I\'ve done it... no photos though... it\'s pretty simple. run a line from the master cylinder through the firewall... I used the passenger side... run it along the transmission tunnel to the handrake cylinder... then run a line continuing back across the trans tunnel, behind the drivers seat... there you will find a bung were the original rear brake lines were (or still are... or maybe the fuel lines??? can\'t remember)... under there (under the car) put in a t-section then run to both rear wheels.
  4. edited for subaru like this but find a matching blue...
  5. I realise that, and I did say it was my personal opinion that they are waste for daily use. I need a station wagon, I don\'t want one. Anyway, I think the OP is just another dreamer wasting time on the interweb... kinda like us right now!
  6. They are a waste because you can\'t use them to their potential, or even close. simple. lot\'s of people just like having a high performance car on the street... fair enough. I personally find it frustrating as hell, so leave it at home and use a station wagon for daily use.
  7. With all due respect dude... if he has to come on here and ask what to do, and how much it will cost... he\'s never owned a 300 kw car, and he\'s most likely not going to any time soon. Stoffa is right, 240kw is a total waste of time on the street... personally I think any STi is a waste on the street... but I may be in the minority there.
  8. Wait, you don\'t even have an STi and you already want 300 kw? 300 kw will kill you in a jiffy. just get the STi first, then if you live long enough, talk to a tuner about 300 kw.
  9. Same... never heard of a bed in procedure for a clutch aside from refraining from thrashing is for a while. And in general, if you are paying a mechanic $100/hr to do work, then you should expect perfect results. Don\'t come onto an internet forum and complain, go complain to the dick that just emptied your pockets.
  10. If you are not happy with it, take it back to the mechanics. I personally do not think a brand new clutch should shudder at all.
  11. +1. Worst thread I have ever seen on the web. Especially the awesome "oil thickens up when heated" post... which is just plain embarrassing.
  12. My advice to anyone who wants to be really confused... is to read every post in this thread. First bit of really important information learned here: Oil gets thicker as it heats up. It\'s very important to absorb this bit of information, before attempting to learn more complex facts about oil. Good luck.
  13. union hardware, Riddiford Street, Newtwon
  14. Go for vomit green... I hear they sell really well when they are that color.
  15. When I first put a walbro in, I used the tea bag sized sock it came with, and it would get surge with half a tank of gas. Put the original sock on, and no problems.
  16. Yes I have bought quite a bit of stuff. No problems with them at all.
  17. Remove charcoal canister (not required), or remove fuel filter (over rated).
  18. is rubbing the issue, or that the rim sticks out too far?
  19. Custom body work isn\'t going to be cheap or done by any old panel beater. As the first reply says, ask Autoworx... also ask Macbilt who they would use. But if you are price sensitive, don\'t waste either of their time with a phone call.
  20. sweet... looks like a good deal.
  21. yeah I know... just been lazy... I'll see how much Stoffa's mate wants for his... then make a decision
  22. Thanks. I was hoping to freak you out a bit
  23. My motivation to make one is extremely low Jared. Plus I have no workspace currently.
