  1. Im sitting on 149000 on my ver7 ra had the engine out last year cause the heads packed up but the block is mint
  2. I got my new afm from japan parts for just under $200 (Still have my issue with it)
  3. unfortunatly mine is still doing this just not as harsh as before. mines like il be going 60kmph in 4th n il hit a 100km area so il put my foot down more for it to slightly come on boost as boost comes on the car will just loose boost then jump back on its a funny feeling BUT it never does it in first or second. iv changed boost controler still does it
  4. its really interesting as i have spent well over 1k before rebuild looking for this issue. iv replaced close to every single sensor in my car! wrapt with the results.
  5. Yeah im in the same boat problem seems to hav vanished.. Very easy job took 30mins. My old sensor was incredibly coroded
  6. no error codes no leaks all new spark plugs at the right gap new o2 sensors new maf sensor rebuilt heads... i put in a replacment boost controller.. i was told it was lightly to go after heads were rebuilt but its still there..
  7. mines like that flat foot in 4th as boost creeps on the car feels like its being held back then boost will come on then repeat. (by this point iv back off not willing to blow it)
  8. Iv got the same issue with my v7 hesitation i tried new afm new coils new plugs even after a full engine rebuild it still is doin it its driving me nuts
  9. i have the same problem as you ryt now and its incredibly fustrating my mechanic wants to check my cam timing..but also it could be an airleak or faulty coil etc etc
  10. exactly thanks i find it hard to beleive its cam timing as the cambelt was done 40thou ks ago... alright im off to do some searching

  12. ok now a dumb question hows the best way to go about finding a leak?
  13. i gather so he just said to me he hooked up my manifold to a guage and it was 13 and its spose to be round 20. so im kinda lost as to what to check.. would a leak cause it to drop that much?
  14. going back in time 3 years hahaha i had my vacuum checked from my manifold yesterday and it was reading 13... he seemed to think my cam timing was out. car feels fine cept on boost where it surges after any advice really

  16. Hey guys. My front 02 (air/fuel) has died Im just wondering where everyone got theres and what the part numbers were. Id rather not go threw subaru. But wanting denso etc... Im wanting both the o2 and the air/fuel.
  17. update.... found my ristrictor put in in and BOOM my stock boost is back feels mint BUT.... 1st n 2nd feel awsome and are holding well but if im trying to boost in 3rd 4th or 5th boost keeps coming on strong cutting out then coming on the pauses are about a seoncd or so... my first guess its the wastgate actuator... because iv got new coils boost solinoid vacum lines and bov fuel pump... also the fact i never had this problem when my boost was without the ristrictor. could be overboosting but it dsnt feel like a cut more like a pause in boost... other than that car feels mint .
  18. iv had a similar problem since my car battery decided to die about three weeks back iv gone from 450kms to a tank to 270ish. no fault codes nothing its truly fustrating
