  1. 2006 2007 2008 Starting from rev.E proximity key/push start was introduced - a very nice feature to have.
  2. Was getting similar fuel consumption numbers out of 3.0R BLE and 2.5GT BR9 - mostly city driving, no nana style.
  3. According to the plate it is a rev A (BH5A), E-tune II are rev D and above.
  4. I had a brand new set of T2 as well, they were noiseless for a month or so, then started squealing
  5. Def won't fit yours because of the headers. Nearly made the same mistake
  6. Had those triangular bits, they're a part of a Cusco bracing kit for BLE/BPE. Afaik Outbacks have slightly different set up down there, something is a bit different just don't remember what exactly, sorry
  7. It's got a few M stickers from factory already
  8. Sorry team Replaced my written-off BR9 with this. It's still a turbo, and a wagon
  9. Yep I was seriously considering him too but got sidetracked and foolishly spent my money on Kido Who cares what level of English he has - he knows what he's doing and you're still able to understand each other. Last line of defence (for a native English speaker) is to point at someone's bad English, imho.
  10. We need more @Jokers in this brutal world...
  11. You can use cheap cables for diagnostics/logging, you'll need a tactrix if you want to reflash/diagnose/log. I'll probably be selling mine soon (once @willisnz is done with it), doesn't look like I need one any more.
  12. Wonder who that well known aussie tuner is... I have a bit of a hate for one, his name starts with an M.
  13. The only difference between 3.0 and GT is the engine side flange - it is rotated by about 90 degrees and bolt holes won't line up, easy fix. Other than that they're the same. Obviously talking about midsection and mufflers.
  14. You sure you got the right sensor replaced? Not sure about BEE but BLE had four of them
  15. He still thinks that wasn't his fault, unlike everyone else including the police and both insurance companies. Going to court next Friday, charged with careless (or dangerous don't remember) driving causing injury, won't be surprised if he pleads not guilty.
  16. You definitely need those shim plates. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/auto-parts/brakes/brake-parts/brake-shims.htm
  17. Mine were the same, V7 and V11 also - in reverse only. Enquired with racebrakes.co.nz and they said it's a common issue with this type of calipers (harmonic motion). Copper grease or that spay-on CRC Brake Quiet stuff help a lot. The latter actually helped to eliminated the squealing, didn't get to test it long enough as the car got written off..
  18. Haven't decided yet to be honest. @Kiwiflyboy looked at a DIT Legacy for me in Chch and we're not overly impressed, especially if you take the asking price into consideration and features offered. I almost feel like going euro this time, you get much more bang for your buck within the price range I'm aiming for. Sorry, Subaru...
  19. Said "sayonara" to her PS: if you ever see a set of 18x8.5 Work Kiwami's at wreckers - don't get them, they're a toast.
  20. Unrelated, but I had a chat with someone who had successfully converted the same JDM unit into NZ frequencies etc, apparently very mush doable.
  21. Ohh crap didn't realise that was your Outback... got distracted by the stock rim.
  22. Safe for pics taken on potatoes then. Problem solved.
