  1. Not hard at all, just a bit of a drive
  2. Someone 's trying to convince me, that all EJ208 B4/GTB's came with a varex type mufflers as a standard - is it correct? (apparently, that's according to factory service manuals)
  3. Anyone used this stuff? One of my mates got his car coated by someone locally (around $300 they say), got curious and googled a bit - can get a set for less than a hundred delivered, wonder if the stuff actually lasts that long, well at least a few years would be good enough (manufacturer claims 5 years "no wax"). Would be nice to coat the rims as well so the dust doesn't stick that much... www.hikariglass.net
  4. Kartboy (and some others) adaptors are readily available, pricey much, someone on here had some made up, ask dacerx. I was lucky enough to score correct backing plates and 2 pots, still cannot find time to install. Pure luck as I've never seen another one for sale before.
  5. Same length. PS: are you buying that straight through midpipe on TM? Had the same on mine - sounded like crap, got sick of it and sold. PPS: any exhaust shop can do the same thing to your stock pipe - paid something like $50-60 to get it done neatly.
  6. You need "dog bone" adaptors (Kartboy etc) or S401 baking plates. Not sure if you need to modify brake shoes.
  7. Bought mine (revD though) from Alltech in Wairau, Auckland, was very adequately priced (about 1.5 years ago).
  8. Haha still kinda related to my question - got the S401 baking plates (i.e straight bolt-on for 2pots/brembos(?) without adapters) and was wondering if I ever upgrade to the 4th gen will I be able to utilise those plates?..
  9. Are BH/BE and BL/BP rear hubs the same?
  10. VIN CODE: GC8038820 DOM: 07/12/1995 Applied model code: GC8C4ED Model code: G10 Chassis code: GC8 Color code: 230(Pure white(?????)) Trim code: 28 Model: WRXSTI Body: S
  11. 20mm front 17mm rear Might be wrong :
  12. Seen a few in Auckland, a blue and a grey one.
  13. Silly question, genuine HKS? Heaps of fakes around, especially in black.
  14. Cool, should research a bit more then.
  15. Did they ever do CC in 3rd gens? I think USDM had this option, don\'t remember seeing any locally ???
  16. http://www.sti.jp/s401/main/index.html if you haven\'t seen already.
  17. Stick it on a Tui add? Really, I\'m not as clued up with cars when it comes to computers (for example) even though I know my car in and out very well. Friend has Nolathane bushes in his BE and going over bumps you hear what I thought was an unhappy strut.. That "friend has" story... don\'t know what you hear, I have the following on my BH: Whiteline/Nolathane sway bar bushes, Whiteline steering rack bushes, Nolathane lower control arm front/rear bushes - none of that said NVH bs. (typical topic development for this forum ;D)
  18. Waiting for Rosssub to join... he\'s got heaps of that red stuff in his : Yeah right...
  19. Each to their own, that\'s probably why.
  20. Did the same replacement on my BH5 - exactly the same outcome. Feels somewhat softer than worn stock ones, but then crisper/more responsive at the same time.
  21. Found dx to be not that much cheaper.
  22. Get them off ebay - same stuff just 10 times cheaper with usually free shipping. 31mm DE3175 DE3022 3175 - pretty sure that\'s what I used for dome/map/door lights T10 for the boot light (don\'t get anything super long - limited space there) T20 for parking lights (rev D!!!) That\'s according to my ebay purchase history from 2 years back.
  23. Awesome news! Ross is beauty that\'s for sure! Would you be able to do a small writeup of what you did with some photos if possible? Would be nice to have as a reference!
