  2. Let me know if you want a price on GRP N STI Mounts. Just sold two sets pre xmas... Cheers BT
  3. STI body kit (plus rear spats, front lip, & tints), Rays wheels, decal kit, and an upgraded ECU. Oh and a gear knob.... nothing remotely close to an sti. I liked mine...!
  4. Awesome work man, and good on ya for sharing the info!
  5. Yup, its a metal ball end clip that goes into a plastic holder. Give it a yank, sometimes the plastic bit comes out too...
  6. Does anyone know if a V8 bonnet scoop is compatible with a V10 bonnet, i.e. straight bolt on (or maybe some minor modification). Need to know fairly urgently, otherwise anyone got a V10 bonnet scoop??? Cheers BT
  7. What events are you likely to do? Road & Track, playday etc?
  8. It's actually got a dry sump...
  9. Yes, but more pronounced on heavier GD, as I say particularly with spacers which put additional stress on them
  10. 5 x 100 bearings are crap, and you WILL have to replace them every 3rd meeting or so, particularly if you are running spacers. 5 x 114 bearings are significantly bigger, more durable and easier to replace. Ran 18 months on a set with no issues If you are interested PM me and I will get you a set cheaper than you will find anywhere in NZ... Cheers BT
  11. Fairly sure they ran factory twin scroll headers on Possum Bournes race to the sky car...
  12. No real gains except not having to change wheel bearings!!! Particularly if you are going to track it...
  13. I personally dont like the look of the APR kits, and there is A LOT of work to put them on, not just bolt on... our stuff is some off the shelf, some custom... You will struggle to get 18 by 10 in 5 x 100, it would be much easier in 5 x 114, but depends if you have already bought suspension, brakes etc... as you need to make sure these are 5 x 114. OR you could run spacer adpators then offset of wheels etc becomes important. Were trying to work out what were going to do at the moment! Will let you know what happens... Cheers BT
  14. Custom is where it's at... all the widebody kits for GDB's are fugly IMO, and weigh a sh*t tonne!
  15. Nice...but your still screwd for thoes unles you can find a V8 on twin scroll sump, oil pickup, windage tray, dipstick tube and dipsitck. I just did the conversion and wasnt as strght forward as some made out to be lol. Not just headers, lines, turbo, downpipe and sump.(altho in its own adds up pretty quick and if you can find etc) Then above bits and up pipe bracket too. Not that much extra parts but enough to do your head in especially after trying to find a bloody twin scroll factory sump! Wana look again???
  16. http://www.rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/shop_detail.asp?productID=2207 $1,120 NZD delivered. Extremely good quality. The twin scroll ones turned up for our car today...
  17. Dont make any kits for GDB's from what I understand... bit of a shame!
  18. Info is out there, just need to search. Check 22b forum and Type Ra forum, both UK based.
  19. Ceased making those a few years ago...
  20. Getting a new gearbox too then??? Dont need to spend $40k to get 310kw atw, I can assure you of that...
  21. Dont make them, only for V7 which didnt have the electronic cluster. Buy a dash :AiM, Motec, Stack, Race Technology or get a RSM. Why would you want it anyway? Max velocity on any NZ track will be circa 240km/h and you'd struggle to break 200km/h in current guise.
