  1. WHY?! How many times do you have to be told?!?!?!?!?!?! Your car is retuned by WRC Developments, who used to tune Subarus WRC cars. Why waste $1,300 in getting it retuned????
  2. You can run anything on standard ECU reflashed, turbo, injectors, bigger cams etc.
  3. Manfield - 1:16.424 IRC Thunder In The Dark 2.
  4. Not to mention his car already has an ECUtek tune by WRC Developments... being the ex Subaru WRC tuner I think he is MORE than qualified!!!
  5. My cars done 29,000km, with about 20,000 of those km being competitive.... look after it in terms of fluids and not being too brutal and it will be fine. Go to Manfield next Sunday and do some laps.
  6. Puke 1:05.844 IRC Thunder at the Park 6 December 2009

  8. Haha yes and no... Tony is always going to be quicker than me! But doesnt stop me trying!
  9. Yeah Kevin is great to deal with... just flick him an email or give him a call and a week or so later things turn up Top quality gear to boot.
  10. That's the 16" model from factory, comes like that ready to strip out and turn into rally cars....
  11. Manfield- 1:17.563 UTRS Round 5, Race 2.
  12. Exhaust, then reflash of your factory ECU. Talk to WRC Developments re this, www.wrcdevelopments.co.nz Cheers BT
  13. Drove past yesterday and progress is loooking awesome! Cant wait to get out there!!!
  14. Pretty much sums it up, but Loren is right- only need to do it if your having continous problems. For me the cost of new brake pads and discs which get ruined after 2 meetings, its worth the cost.
  15. New from subaru, you'd be hard pushed to find a wrecked V9 onwards STI I would say. Need 5 x 114.3 wheels, and suspension or machine the knuckle and re drill the hub to suit 5 x 100. V9 onwards have a different outer CV which mount into the hub, so need an V9 onwards outer CV to go on the earlier axles. Looking around $1,500 - $2,000 either way.
  16. No difference between the older stuff. Version 9 Hubs are the way to go, just doing conversion on mine at the moment... wheel bearings went after 2 race meetings!!!
  17. You can actually reflash version 6 upwards STI's with ECUtek.
  18. If the car has airbags you need FIA Approved seats! (my understanding... could be wrong!)
  19. I use Motul: http://www.motul.co.nz/product_line_up/4stroke/4stroke02.html
  20. If you go for the 330mm rotors, most 17's should clear, but you need to check each set of wheels differs with spoke design.
  21. Usually 75km for me if its a day at the track... otherwise 350-400 being REALLY nice to it!
  22. Eh... Danniverke BP has 98 doesnt it?! Well it did at xmas time when I went through...
  23. Taupo track 1: 1:19.63 Manfield: 1:18.35
