Threw myself in the deep end with this one but got there in the end. Just have to work out if there's any cabin adjustment for the handbrake since it's still pretty tight with the adjusters at the wheels wound the whole way in.
Came out pretty easily in the end. Couple of whacks from the hammer and a piece of wood and they both came free. Yea greasing everything i think i might end up pulling apart one day. Your hub swap how to was bloody brilliant too. Took most of the guess work out of it
I always thought the dash plug flashing didn't work for rev d onwards.
Can codes be pulled with the tactrix without having the definition files loaded?
What side of town are you in greaver?
Yea now after wasting about 3 hours working out how to get them off i've come to the realisation that the backing plates for the Brembo setup are actually the same size as the Spec B ones
Did you change the backing plates on yours? Everything apart from that is alright. Need to get the bearing part off the knuckle since the plate sits in between the two.

Oh no lol wack another hub on dude and keep going Nothing particularily wrong with this hub. Got a spare one that i've already separated from the bearing part, just struggling to get the ball joint out and get the axle out of it too. followed rosssub's how to but the balljoint just won't come any further than about 5mm
Assuming they used the same idea in older models. Seems to be 50:50 for the viscous centre in the manuals, not quite as straightforward for the auto's though

Looked at her. Decided i should probably get the reg sorted to i can finally drive her again after sitting there unused for well over a month now with an expired reg.
Well i've been in contact with them early this week. No solid update on when the items will arrive, have been some complications with shipping but have been given a decent enough explanation for it so not worried.
Was expecting it to take a 2-3 months but has stretched out to a lot longer than that now for the final items. Never asked for expected times for each item before paying so can only suggest to others to ask more questions and be completely sure of expected timeframes incase they are experiencing a slow period.
Flipside of this was the wheel items in this order from Work came well before the expected date so was pleasantly suprised with that.
+1
The gentlemans agreement was a predominantly jdm model thing so unless it came from a jap tuning house it was definately covered under this. Also why the f would subaru give a forrester that much more power than a sti.
Does your mate have really short legs and struggles to push the pedal right to the floor cos thats the only way this would come close to beating a much lighter car with more power.
Have tried pming and emailing without much luck. He seems to have dropped off the radar a bit in the last few weeks. Did see his post saying he'd been off sick for a week or two so may just be inundated with backed up stuff
And that numbers not them. Some random answered, sounds like she gets it quite often.
Should it not be fine for a catback the way 4th gens are the same for catbacks regardless of whether they're the single scroll 2.5 or twin 2.0. Post downpipe everything was the same.
For facelift they use a HB4 bulb. Got LED ones for mine, quite expensive. Can get them cheaper on ebay but run the risk of them being crap.
Got these in mine, get some white park bulbs aswell. Way brighter and matches the headlight bulbs pretty well.

Apparently the white light isn't as good when in fog but hasn't bothered me the few times i've actually needed to use them.
