My 01 GTB Etune is awesome....Thats prob about the right money if buying off a car yard. I would have brought the BP shape but they were at least 4k more for a good one as Gazzy said.

Yeah the wheels can be rotated by hand when not all 4 of them are off the ground. Some times you have to lift the caliper up and slip the pads out to get the little ba**ards! Especialy in road work season when theres fresh chip seal with nice sticky tar on it to "lock" it in there for ya!

Some times a stone can get well and truely stuck in there and nothing short of disasembling the brake will get it out. Jack it up and spin the wheels by hand to find out what one it is. Dont drive to far....they can and will scour the rotor! Next time it happens sometimes you can dislodge them by reversing, ziz zagging and going over bumps at the same time!

Blue is not used....only for electric brakes etc. Black not required either. Brown is park/tail White is earth Yellow is Left Green is right Red is brake

Any towbars i have fitted in the past i have always run a seperate wire off to the other tail light for the indicator.

Just undo a couple of the 10mm bolts on the cover and hold it to the side. Get an assistant to 'flick" the key so the motor turns a bit but does not start and watch with a torch. It is pretty hard to tell but just look for signs of cracking and when the writing comes round look for how new it is.

Back in the country and this gears still sitting taking up room....who wants it???

I personally would never marshal at a motorsport event. I did several years marshalling for Rally NZ and was then asked by a friend to "manage" a high priority corner. All the usuall danger points were tapped off but a large crowd were trying to get prime views. When a Corolla came round the corner and tried to do a Scandinavian Flick round the 90o right but ended up going backwards through several people including the Camera man and his wife who momments earlier had told me that i could not tell them to get back! The communication with the stage manager was poor and when i finally got a hold of him by cellphone and told him to stop the stage i had people threaten to "smash" me over if i stopped it. This all happened about the same time as the Quenstown street race where marshals repeatedly asked 2 drunk fools to move and then when the car lost control and killed them both they had to go through court before motorsport NZ stepped in to take the blame. If you do it just make sure that you are "blameless"....in writing!

Have you tried cleaning it with some solvent then spraying with silicone spray??? They can get a bit "gunky" which can slow them down!

Why anyone would use VTNZ is beyond me....more than half the inspectors are not actually mechanics...you only have to have 5 years industry experince to get a WOF ticket (correct me if im wrong its been years since i last had a wof ticket). Also they are not government owned anymore but still seem to promote them selves as being a government agency. Also i dont agree with how someone can issue a wof on a vehicle without a road test!!

GYM4 = FAIL. The 1st 1 was awesome. He tried to copy the awesomness of the 1st 1 in the 2nd 1 and Failed by adding to much theatrics. The 3rd 1 was awesome....note the lack of theatrics. The 4th one looks like it was made by hollywood. Dont get me wrong the driving is awesome but concentrate on that. Same F**k up as they made with the 2 fast to Furious!

Hi Having a bit of a cleanup of the garage. I have a box of assorted crap pulled out of Jap imports before compliance. Theres 3 or 4 screens, a rearview mirror with built in screen and some naviagation stuf. Not sure what works and what dosent. Also a box of wiring and car tv aerials. PM me if you want it...must take it all and pick ups only sorry.

Put a test light across each side of each fuse until you find out what one it is...easy peasy

Got to be water somewhere??? Start unplugging things and go crazy with compressed air. Pay particular attention to spark plug leads and coils!
