  1. Fair call on the ute for the dogs You should post a pic of them in this thread
  2. This might seem like a strange/personal question so don't answer if you don't want too, but why does your wife need a ute? Does she need lots of load space? Is it mainly for the weekend use? The D-MAx is supposed to be a good choice (apparently a bit better than the Colorado) Also don't forget to look at the Mitsibishi Triton, Im not a fan of the looks but again its supposed to be a well put together option.
  3. How about RSBC5 or BCRS92. they are available
  4. Top fuel drag run - Check out the speedo and the fuel gauge!
  5. So the idea is find one good brand/type and you like and stick to that I guess. Im one of those people that usually just buy what grade of Oil I need on sale, not worrying about who makes it. Will stop doing this and find something I will stick with. Back to topic
  6. Different to the ones I had. My ones you counderstand easily see that they were worn out. Not sure about checking those ones apart from giving them a jiggle and see if you get any movement
  7. Check the sway bar link on the front left side. If the link looks like a black plastic dog bone the chances are it's worn especially if they are still original
  8. If you can find a good 2.5 3rd gen then that would be best (only issue can be head gaskets on the 2.5, but if they have been done the awesome)
  9. I would go for a legacy wagon as it has more room in the back and will be better to fit bigger things in. stay away from anything under 2 litre as they are under powered especially if auto. AWD may be handy for accessing muddy sites. Also even N/A needs to run on minimum 95 to get any sort of decent fuel economy. Trust me Ive tested this. Any reason on BF wagons? what about a BG or BH?
  10. Virtual Visionz in New Brighton now have a 2 person team competition league starting up. If you haven't been there yet I would recommend having a go. $25 for 30 minutes and they have the racing sim as well as shooting aliens and zombies. Here's the Facebook page https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1919460491602088&id=1828473740700764 I am in no way connected to this company. I just think it's awesome and it's supporting a local business.
  11. 2000Hp Evo Drag car sounds awesome
  12. I've got a few things further up the list at the moment 😟 if you still have them later this year I would be keen.
  13. Once I get RS up and running, Im thinking I might lower the Outback! Was going to raise it, but I think at this point will buy a set of Bilsteins to throw in while I decide exactly what to do with it.
  14. I recognize it and Im in Christchurch! Probably cause Im a bit of a plane nut though
  15. Gave myself a flat battery in the Outback. Didn't close the door properly sothe interior list stayed on! Good thing I have roadside rescue
  16. Good way to learn the city too. If you want to find one of the spots and don't know where it is give me a PM and I'll try help you out
  17. Good to see this being played by many people
  18. I could do with a bodykit, maybe some bigger arms, hair replacement? For the car : The RA no The outback - Could be interested depending what was out their
  19. Would be nice. But don't have the room and can't be arsed doing it too.
  20. I broke it!😢. Well 4th gear anyway, went to change into 4th and it pooped back out and when I went to try again it felt like the clutch wasn't disengaged fully and made a horrible noise. All the other gears are fine. Time to start saving again. Might just see if I can get another one at this point and throw it in while I get it fixed.
  21. I have heard of XRT and West_Minst on other forums, and from what I have read the services that are provided do seem good. Im not going to get into the debate of dyno/road/remote tuning. What seems to be the main issue that I can see is the way that West_Minst brought up the XRT remote tunes. Also I might be wrong but I think West_Minst is from barbadoes, so his English may not be the best. Maybe we can wipe the slate clean of whats happen previously and get West_Minst to set up an new thread in product services and reviews and not spam peoples threads with XRT can do this and that. If he provide helpful advice without involving spamming his work then fine. Having another opinion is always good. Ok rant over P.S - i think if you are promoting a certain business or product and have a vested interest in it then it would be good to know too.
