    BP 98 vs Mobil 98

    I mean they're the same octane rating, they won't be all that different. As @delta said, probably just additives etc.

    It's not like Gull which uses an ethanol blend to increase the octane rating to 98.

     

    I used to use BP 98 only til the beginning of the year where they started to increase margins and Mobil ended up being 10-20c per litre cheaper at the pump before any discounts.

    Side note: Mobil also does 10c discount days and 4x Smiles Points days too.

    So glad that it was only minor. Hence me running over and waiting for you in pit lane. Looked way worse from that angle.

    I cross referenced mine against the Denso part number (who often make OEM parts for Subaru), and then just ordered the Denso one from overseas (UK iirc).
    Ended up being about $200.

I get bored of looking at a wheel, start/stop button all month. I do like the odd wheel/engine bay picture but I think cars have a lot more to offer for a calendar.

    Agreed though. Cars and the surrounding landscapes are much better than a macro shot of a gearshift or badge.

    We had one out at Clarks Beach once. Although it took ages for someone to go all the way out and get it :/

    Can always give it a shot and maybe have a back up picture that's closer to the city in case no one gets it in a few weeks?
