  1. Poo. Where does one source locking collars from? Wonder if autolign down here can as they're the local tein agents. Gonna get them rebuilt too.
  2. So I've bought a set of coilovers for my wagon. Have taken a picture of a front and a rear next to each other. Both of the longer struts are missing the second collar. Is there supposed to be two?
  3. I'm wondering if my best bet may be to remove all the panels and re run my wiring from tweeters up along the roof and down the b pillars?
  4. I'm sure that depends on auto or manual... gt or gtb?
  5. Hey all Just wondering if anyone could give me a clue as to where my wagon rear tweeters get their signal from? Am wanting to install crossovers along with new tweeters and components. Do they have wiring that meets up in the door or something along those lines?

    I'm confused You're raging because ? I don't follow
  8. Meh no point with that turbo, she's long gone lol
  9. It is a pick a part turbo so for all I know it could be. I can't get the turbo apart fully either which isn't exactly helping
  10. I suppose there's either no ECU or no power to it if the gauges don't sweep and light up when you turn the key? Assuming BL/BP of course
  11. There's mass play in the shaft, both side to side and inwards and outwards. But you don't see any possibly way to hg symptoms? Have slightly milky shiz under driver's side head breather.. not sure if that's any help at all...
  12. After converting my BG5 to single turbo, I've started it up to find that it puts out a fair amount of steam out the exhaust and my oil is slightly milky (ever so slightly) I was told that the motor was a good runner from the guy I bought it from. My turbo on the other hand is from pick a part. In my mad rush of excitement at pick a part, I grabbed the turbo, checked the shaft for play (which there was none at the time) and bought it. Unfortunately after pulling my turbo today I've now noticed that it's missing it's centre clamp (see photo). Turbo now has mass shaft play. Have also noticed water has run out of my downpipe on to the ground (rest of the exhaust isn't linked up at the moment). I'm not bothered that my turbo is now buggered - just wondering whether the lack of clamp on the turbo could possibly cause the HG symptoms.. I don't fully understand how the inside of a turbo works so unsure if it's possibly mixing coolant + oil + air if not sealing correctly. I'm able to bleed the cooling system at idle but it seems to pressurize and come out the overflow under any sort of load / RPM. Any help most appreciated! This is the clamp i'm on about..
  13. If you're going to run an oiled air filter, make sure to have a spare air flow meter with you... I reckon the ryco panel filters are all good, do their job well and not too pricey.
  14. Ah sweet as will be a v1/2 motor then. I'll run my o2 in the manifold and just see how it goes. Still a tad worried about the slight coolant pressurization I'm getting, think I may have small head gasket issues
  15. Bung sender unit? And yeah v7 dp. Will swap for a v3/4 one if anyone has?
  16. Fill it up, leave radiator cap off and start your car, heater on full temp fan on half. Leave it running till it warms up properly and the bubbles stop coming up out of the top tank.. And make sure you use coolant not just water
  17. The two small hoses may be an auto transmission cooler? Not sure
  18. Jesus I wouldn't think you'd need to cut the shock at all to run superlows? I never have, not sure if v7 have extra long shocks or something? Hope the metal on metal sound you're hearing isn't a bad weld crashing into the top of the shock tower
  19. Ah right - the guy who sold me my motor told me it was from an early model WRX, I was assuming v1/2 sort of thing, but due to having the flange in the manifold would signify that my motor is probably from a BC legacy or something? Yeah was wondering what that sensor in my dp was, is that an air fuel ratio sensor? it's right down by where it bolts up to mid pipe.
  20. All I can say is that as soon as Subaru went to the BP / BL chassis they were no longer twin turbo, only N/A 4 cyl, N/A 6 cyl, or twin scroll single turbo this is all I know lol
  21. Wow you really aren't doing yourself any favours.. http://www.troublecodes.net/subaru/
  22. My downpipe doesn't have the hole for one there. Extractors do though, wonder if it'd be any good there
