Yeeeap. They didn't believe me, or thought I was scamming them. Was kinda harsh tho, it was a lot of 'guilty until proven innocent'. Problem was, after the meeting they searched around for TWO MONTHS trying to find dirt on me or on the car, they finally gave up when they couldn't find anything. Friggin glad thats all over.

Was with NAC, but had two cars stolen this year so they won't have me back apparently. Also when the 2nd car got stolen I had to have a very formal meeting at the State Insurance offices that was recorded for legal reasons etc, but they did eventually pay out. Currently with Inbroke/Insure Direct - only have third party + fire + theft and it works out to be around $800 a year, full cover was $1500++

Hence why the VR4 got stolen now I own a Subie

if shes taking it into the actual city, she should be fine. just make sure it's in plain sight, day time, car park building if possible etc etc. i duno about the hutt though, might need others to comment on that seeming im not from those ways

Yeah... Wellington is pretty bad this year. I've had 2 stolen within 2 months earlier in the year. Pricks stole my Libero GT and then my Vr4 . Good luck with the find, though it's probably half way around the world, already in bits in some shipping container.
