don't put water in it. Always use coolant. i think supercheap sells 5l for $20. Water will just cause the block to turn like this over time. Doesn't look to pretty
Does any one kow what v7 sti suspension sells for these days? My sisters mate wants to buy a set off me for his gtb, which im assuming all you would have to do is change tophats??
They have done 100,000km's and have super low king springs which have done approx. 3000km's
Neither of us have an idea about how much they are worth and dont want to rip him off
Any help would be much appreciated ;D
Its alot lower now (but thats just my style), i still dont have an issue scraping tho. I wouldn't use the current height for track days but it looks nice around the street.
I personally found that super lows only lowered my v7 about 30-40mm. I had king springs for about a month but didnt like them. Still had a bit to much roll in it. Adjustables are the way to go. You might be able to pick up some second hand ones for cheap.
This is my v7 on superlows its not very good, but its the only one i have

you can block off the hole where it recirculates back into the intake before the turbo but not sure if it would do much (may make a sound). you would be better off buying a atmospheric bov and doing it that way. Personally i would just leave it as the bov works fine as it is, but thats just my opinion
From my experience i would say you would need compressors for low springs, but it does really depend on how compressed the spring is as smurff said above
Now that i got my adjusties certed was looking into a full exhaust setup and tuned headers.Just curious if anyone has one of these exhausts on there car and what they're like? or could recomend a good setup from experience.

They might actually be. That was just the number that popped into my head from memory.
This is the link to the wheels. if still not sure, give them an email

I think the offset for a V7 is 32p from memory
Alot of Wolf Wheels should fit. The 18" S1p should definatly fit and dont look to bad. Havn't test fitted them but they fit my mates evo 9 and look really good. Plus thyre a good price
i dont know what the problem is. from what i can see its one of the early lcd hks ones with no auto function, it came like that from japan. its my weekend v7 sti and gets driven quite a bit
Well ive finally had some time on my hans and have decided to fix my turbo timer. Its HKS and will count down for about three seconds and switch off. even if its set for 30 seconds. Any ideas of what it could be would help?
there definatly good value for money. and easy to find standard compared to evos for the same price. i paid near $18k for my one as is probably the best car ive owned to date
today on my way back from wellington the parking brake light brake was on. At first i thought it was my own dumb fault but wasnt. got off the motorway and had fiddle with it and turned the car off to see if that would work. But nope.. ??? any ideas of what could be the potential problem and how to fix it?
Im having trouble remembering which way the arrow goes on my factory BOV. Its going back on a 96 Legacy GTB. Does the arrow go downwards back into the intake?
no i never thought of removing the cat. Will get it done. I sort of wouldnt mind the wank factor but primarily performance as i havnt really heard a legacy hit wastegate before
