Hubs changed from 5x100PCD to 114.3x5 with the STI v9, more importantly the V9 also productionised the v8 spec C front end re-jigged suspension mounting.
More than just a PCD change, it was the whole wheel bearing and knuckle that changed to a more 'motorsport' orientated design
What is this suspension mounting change you speak of?
there are two easy things to check that will make that light flash:
the gearbox plug is unplugged (6 pin thing by the gearboxdipstick)
the control wheel is unplugged
just fixed a leak where the oil drain goes into the head, pain in the arse!
if you're under the car you can usually see if there's oil coming out of the bell housing. If that's clean it'll be leaking from the turbo somewhere
ah i see what you mean.
It does note to set the lap timer to start/stop during a straight, not in the corners. Pity NZ has no land based GPS transmitters o overcome this issue.
It wouldnt be useful for a live readout, more interesting to look at at the end of a run. I dont care if it's out by half a second or a few k's an hour. Good enough for an overview!
not really usefull on a race track though since they respond to slowly.
What do you mean? Swee has it on his phone and had it going on my car the last time we were at puke. Was great, gave all the speed readings through corners, top speed down the straights and a list of all the lap times...
get a gps thing if you want a more accurate speed reading, you can get some very cool stuff that works on your phone too.

fantastic piece of software if you have a compatible phone
that grease they are packed with is not good wheel bearing grease, it's grease to stop them going rusty.. always get rid of that crap and use proper stuff
