  8. Boost gauge is mandatory. Bare in mind a TD05 at a lower level of boost would produce the same power as a VF8 at a higher level. 12psi should be enough, 15psi is asking for it; 17psi is a pull away from terminal engine failure. Your 380cc injectors will be good for up to 180kw@wheels.

  16. Some would say your cars are a crime. From memory smurff your car is too low to handle and Omegah your car sports a kit which is open to interpretation.
  17. I know what that's like. The point is high PSI was not on the agenda presumably for your build, therefore your OE block was fine. There is no possibility, It must be stronger. I'm no engine builder but it's as simple as looking at one and then the other.
  18. I remember you showing me a Prodrive RX6 with the magnesium compressor housing. The RX8 you had there was a huge step up in terms of size; what did you say they were on, the Audi LMP R8?
  19. It isn't a theory, It's a fact. With all the money you spent, another $100 would have been a drop in the bucket for the removal of a possible weak point.
  20. No doubt, RX6's are as used by the Subaru WRC team and are considered the fastest spooling Turbos in motor sport. I'm sure the local Turbo heads will provide you with more information rather than trivia.
