Mate of mine sold a white 98 V5 STI coupe a few years back It had a V6 front lip and wing, RA roof vent and NT03 rims Plate on it was CFB672 He's coming back from the UK soon and has asked me to try and track it down, I saw a photo of it posted on here a year or so back but nothing since. my old 04 v9 wrx hatch was on bc gold adjusties and i had 18x8.5 rims on it with 215/40/18 tyres, guards were rolled and i had the adjusties on hard but seemed to do the trick as per pic below

v8/v9 sti scoop the wrx of the same version doesnt have the line on the side

as above, theyre all right, v7 was the last hatch or "wagon" until the v11 no brembos, no 6 speed, etc the hatches from v7-v10 dont have the wide guards like the sedans do either unless you do what i did and put front guards, bumper, diffusers, lip, spottie covers and scoop from a sti sedan onto it jap import vs nz new: theres a few lil things ive noticed, nz new have cruise control, a red foglight in one tail light, dif speedo, etc v8 vs v9: aint much but main thing is the interior/centre console, if the 3 aircon knobs are in a line-its a v9, if the middle is a bit lower(like v7)-its a v8. its like the v8 have the v7 dash then they changed it in the v9 thats what ive found since i got my car in aug 2010

not all sti have fog covers (wagon and sedan both) Yeah I know but majority lol Wrx normally have spotties, STI normally have covers, that's what I was meaning lol

But if his car is already a STI it would have the foglight covers? Wrx came with spotties, STIs normally have the covers...?

One question, why do you want to get brembos? You could prob get something new for a similar price...?

are you wanting to put the whole sedan front on? like what ive done? if so, bumper and guards will be all you need with the v7 ive got the v9 (wrx though, sti hatch was made after v7) and needed guards, bumper, fog light covers, diffusers and the lip brembos, no idea any other questions let me know

yeah that was the car in the NAC ad, its my mates old car, back when it had clear tail lights lol and i like the white too, keep the others for track :-)
