  1. Cheers Ben you have done a great job organizing so far so I'm sure 2011 will be great. Looking forward to meeting more people and learning more about Subies ;D
  2. haha yeah followed by a loss of control into a large tree would have been key. Yeah although Smith & Smith still quoted $327 ahahahahahahaha!!! (In Welly last year I got a brand new windscreen for $295 installed from Smith & Smith) Luckily Ace Auto Dismantlers on Keith St have heaps of parts so managed to pick a nice second hand one up for $65 and the Novus guy installed it for $50 so in the end a good result.
  3. yeah drivers door window, I just wish that mums place was closer to the street so I could have heard my alarm and taken a brick to lob through their windscreen as they came flying back past.
  4. Friday night my car was parked in a cul de sac in Hokowhitu and had the drivers window smashed, neighbour said my alarm went off briefly at 3.30am and she saw a maroon Ford Falcon Station Wagon drive down the street and then come hooning back (possibly not realising it is a dead end street). I don't think it was an attempted steal as any douche could get into a BG Legacy without smashing the window so I think it's just typical low life Palmy dickheads having 'fun' on the way home from the pubs. Guy at Novus said there have been a lot of window smashes in recent times so if you can park off street I would do so (typical that this was the only night I parked on the street as had extra cars at the old ladys so didn't put it in the garage).
  5. I'm taking the Santa fe away to the coromandel as it will cost me half as much as the legacy. Unfortunately it's a sacrifice that has to be made

  22. Hey guys, Is there any way to check why a vehicle failed it's last WOF without getting the check sheet off the owner? I was looking at a vehicle from Turners and the car jam report states it failed it's WOF inspection on 16 November but I'm sure they won't supply the check sheet + the sales rep already emailed me saying he couldn't see any reason it would fail it's next WOF inspection :. I was hoping you could get the records from NZTA or something because I'm sure it would have to be recorded somewhere? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Ben
