  2. just going on what experience i have in driving them but you are right they have a totally different power delivery than the single turbos, my old bf5 would eat my workmates one everytime and i dont think it had near those power figures
  3. hmmm have driven a couple of rsk and a blitzen and they dont "feel" anywhere near those figures
  4. out of interest what does the 206kw at the flywheel equate to roughly at the wheels?

  7. nice! I has the same on my "play" rims, nice tyres, shit to drive down the motorway at 110km/h when you forget that you only have 15psi in them haha, that was an interesting drive....
  8. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha who did that? lol, oh god, hahahahahahahahahahahaha
  9. thats the one! air mounted cab and pioneer cd and mp3 headunit, us farmers are pretty slick these days
  10. ah yes, that makes sense, i thought there was another way to do it also
  11. here is doing mine a few weeks back box out and split gearsets out before removing front diff front diff back in minus the crownwheel
  12. it is about rwd, and if you have your car running rwd, then you MUST have the front crownwheel removed if you are running front shafts?, or your car will just be 4wd locked diff and break very quickly
  13. you can not run your front shafts unless you remove the crownwheel from your front diff, basically if you do your car will be 4wd-locked diff and you WILL break stuff on a hard surface like tarseal or concrete, would probably be ok on gravel, been there, done that, thought it would be ok to leave my front shafts in just while putting the car onto a trailer....bang, front diff a big pile of metal. I now have front shafts in but have removed the front crownwheel so there is no connection between the front diff and the rest of the gearbox, the only real problem then is that the front crownwheel actually moves a lot of the gearbox oil around, kinda like a big paddle steamer wheel, and some people say they have problems with the box becomming hard to shift etc after a good hiding but I have never had any problems with that
  14. The terrano lives again! been parked up for a couple months with a dicky starter switch and a buggered tyre, tyre replaced, starter switch cleaned with contact cleaner and shes away! god I love her, 300kms and counting...... aiming for the big 500kms before I retire her to the farm.
  15. did you go up the coast or up through the lindis/murchison etc?
  16. and yeap they should go straight in your bg5 as well, the only car I have had the same generation as yours was a bd5 rs and thats the only car I never put wrx seats into, but thats the beauty of subarus, they are like lego, pretty much everything is interchangeable between models
  17. I have owned heaps of bf5's and bc5's and wrx seats bolt straight in, no modifications, no drilling holes etc so dont know what youre on about there?
  18. which is why my car went away and had a full panel and paint, in gunmetal, was a good job too, then I decided i didnt like it so sent it away and had it all stripped right back and done all over again in its current guise haha
  19. sweet talk? im more of a shoot now/just do things with out telling her, ask questions/face the consequences later sort of a guy, only way to get things done when theres a woman in the picture
  20. hmm those falls were awesome, just stopped at some rest area to take the dogs for a run round and then saw all these people standing on a viewing platform pointing and ooohing and aaaaahing at something so went to see what all the fuss was about and theres a bloody great waterfall there haha was just out of murchison on our way back home from motueka
