  1. Not sure if this has come up on this forum yet but i did a search and couldnt find anything here about it. When you put your flywheel on do you use locktite on the bolts? My flywheel is already on, but the engine is back out at the moment because i put a new oil pan on. I never put locktite on it originally and was wondering if it is necessary. also is it about 90ft lbs that you torque it to? Ive seen a few exploding flywheel videos on youtube! and i dont want the thing flying out at my face at high rpm, but i may need to take the flywheel off again in about 6 months so was just wondering what everyone else does thanks in advance for any answers posted
  2. some grease on the clutch fork where the slave piston goes helps quieten things down too

  4. yea thats it. ive got all my sensors from my old engine sitting in a drawer for when i need them, as ive had to buy some in the past which is annoying
  5. its the round one normally found under ya top mount, on top of the block
  6. im onto my fourth radiator and 2nd engine because of this. (always cracks on the drivers side) have a sneaking suspision the heaters blocked so i will be putting one of those H shaped hose adaptors on the heater lines before i get my car back on the road

  8. i remember a few years ago seeing a brumby on trademe in invercargill that had an ej20 turbo conversion from a gt. It was very high off the ground and it was quite cheap too i think. (under 5k maybe)
  9. Just been watching 3 news and they say petrol will go up 56c in july for acc fees! Doesn't sound right to me can anyone in the know confirm this? Or perhaps they just mean acc levies go up to 56c?
