Contact Reuben. hes over in Qtown and im sure that he would be able to take care of it for a small fee. At least you know its safe and all working once you get back.
Well for me its a type r and a v5, if i had the money id buy it because finding a coupe is hard, finding a v5/6 is hard. I had to settle with a v4 ra when i really really wanted a type r.
twin scroll td05, exhaust and a reflash and maybe a better intercooler and it would be a good cheapish new car. I have been seeing them from 10k in places. For a 07-09 car thats good. I would rather the legacy but i like the space
if you really want to do a boost controller. get a ebc and a boost gauge. at least then you can see what your changing. But honestly reflash is way way better with the later legacys.
many many threads to this, but short answer is fronts are bolt on and rears needs adaptors or to change to v7 wrx hubs if you keeping your r160 diff.

Good to start there
I'm funding all single turbo conversion this Christmas but u needed to have your paperwork in my Christmas Eve so Santa was getting his jdm elves on the job. Also I never said run wastegate pressure I said to use a ebc or boost tap off the wastegate actuator that's on the primary as that's the main on that controls everything with tt
Got rego, installed swaybars with the help of some CS members, installed locking bolts, and started to install my gauges. Just waiting on new baffled sump to come and then get that installed for the manfield trackday in january!
I think its a great car, ez engines are amazing, but yeah you can do ej engines and turbo and huge boost but the ez36 gives its more drivablity overall id say.
I removed mine in mine and had to get a boss kit as my v4 had the clockwheel type for the horn, i got it certed when i was doing all my other stuff. wasnt too difficult just has to be safe and not have the airbag lights come on. The kit from HKS or something does it all i got mine off Fortyone Auto on here took about 2 weeks and was easy to do. Now i run a MOMO wheel from a RS legacy as its nicer to use.
Still auto tho, rather get the prefacelift model with a 6 speed for like 12-14. The tiptronic 5 speeds are nice but getting old fast. Thats the main reason why i sold my H6 sedan and went back to a turbo manual legacy.
