Sweet, so you\'ve done it ? Do I just cut out all the cracked stuff (and if so, cut it with what, a hacksaw ?) Or, sand the whole lot back so there\'s no cracks. Or, bog it up ? Or ?

That\'s where I looked ! Heaps of videos describing how to do it ! But unfortunately with my experience what I see that looks easy on youtube usually is the opposite once I get my clumsy mitts on it. So I wanted to know if anyone had given it a go. Even then, I wonder if you can just go to Repco/SuperCheap and buy one of their kits and give it a go, or . . .

So, after my little off into the wall at Manfield, I thought maybe I\'d look at repairing the cracks myself. For fun. Here is the damage. Is it that hard to fix ? Has anyone done it ? If so, with what ? Or, should I just get someone else to do it ? Any help appreciated.

What makes you think the businesses are dropping their price to compete with you ? You would have to be getting a noticeable increasing market share for that to happen. Maybe they\'re just competing with each other ?In which case they\'ll be shaving off their own profit, which they won\'t do for ever. So, to maintain your margins, think on how to lower your supply costs. Easiest way to increase profit.

Who\'s going to be doing the dyno tuning/run ? Actually, what does that mean ? What do you mean by track setups ? Do you warranty your engines ? Genuinely curious as I\'m sure all of us with race cars in Wellington are.

Yep ! That\'s the GPS unit I\'m going to buy. Just need to find the right phone with a big enough screen. *Edit : Actually I just bought that one.

I used trackmaster. I should\'ve used an external GPS. I may have had more success with it. When you\'re gearing up to go racing the last thing I felt like doing was organising the split markers etc. So, from my research, trackmaster and racechrono are the ones to use. For the record, as has been suggested to me, I\'m going to buy a phone dedicated to the car, and try racechrono for the playday. If that doesn\'t work I\'m going to buy a dedicated unit.

Or do what I did. Go to the tyre place who are going to fit your tyres to the new rims. Ask them that if you get the rims dropped off to their branch in (insert location closest to where the rims are) will they send them down for you. Then ask the person who you bought the rims off to drop them at the branch. Costs about $68 (Akld->Wgtn)
