  1. That is win for me If the option is there for personalisation, then I'd accept the extra cost (within reason). Otherwise, I'd just get the stock item with the logo front-left and rear-top, and then find some asian customising-shop in a mall somewhere who could do the plate embroidery.
  2. I know about the price, but would embroidery be cheaper than screen printing? When you do personalised stuff and seperate screens need to be made, that's where things can get expensive. Those colours above look good, but at least get the plate right haha. Also on the rear, I'd like the .org.nz added, but on the front - just the logo on it's own. But actually, what I'd want is what the actual plate looks like, not just the text... like this But obviously, with the colours reverted. Sorry, I don't have an image editing app on my new laptop..
  3. A zip-up hoody with ClubSUB front & rear, & my number plate screenprinted on it.
  4. Yeah that's right. If they are adjustable they do, but STi stock for factory stock replacements are fine. However in saying that, you could quite possibly get away with adjustable ones. I think most places look for adjustable suspension, but not really adjustable anything else.
  5. Again as said, can be done quite easily with the engine in car. Just have a good socket set with decent length extensions. The bolts that connect the extractors to the uppipe can be the biggest PITA, and can possibly even break if they are seized (this happened to me recently). Be prepared to replace those bolts, if required. However, if they are aftermarket, is the extractors & uppipe one piece?
  6. They weren't factory on V7 Spec C, at least on on my 'gravel spec' edition. Perhaps they were on the 'tarmac' edition. I know, because I did put a set on when I owned mine. I did it because I could, not for any specific reason (read: for the bling, yo)
  7. Yes technically it's illegal, but you would be very very unlucky to fail on someone actually testing it with a light meter. However, if you are concerned with it, then ask your tint guy to test the VLT of your windows before he tints it, then use a tint level that's appropriate, to bring it down to 35%. If they use quality int, they should be able to supply a 45% tint, that will take your approximate 10% factory glass, down to approx 35%
  8. Boy you are onto it. It's not even April yet haha! In
  9. I can only assume that Brad will get a notification of this, seeing as the last post was 2 years ago. But if you have no luck, then AVS Facebook page is here: https://www.facebook.com/avscaralarms, or webpage: http://avscarsecurity.com/
  10. My old legacy had a number of unique modifications: Twin scoops Custom A-Pillar trims for a 3-way front audio setup 3 gauges moulded into air-con trim surround Rear chin spoiler
  11. I haven't booked anything yet for the Sunday, but was thinking 7pm. But of course, that's different to the thread for this event.
  12. Am cruising up atm, almost there in fact
  13. Looks very clean... but DAM he doesn't love his rims very much lol!! That's some precise parking right there..
  14. Yes they will sound fine. Of course they will sound better off an amp, but if that's beyond you / your budget, then they will still sound a fair bit better than the stockers. However, in saying that, I've found stock speakers have surprisingly good low end response, but not so good high end. So don't be surprised if you lose some midbass, but gain more quality vocals and higher frequencies.
  15. I didn't know where it was until I saw the PAP sign.. lol
  16. Lol shouldn't it at least be the same car?
  17. Oh Wednesday night.. okay.. can't make that night.. no matter.
  18. Quicker to take digital photos of photos and crop them? I have to do something similar with a whole lot of old sports teams photos
  19. Search for Car Audio New Zealand on Facebook and ask there. You may find a local person willing to help you do it yourself.. it's not too difficult.
  20. Is Paul's Audio still around? That would be my first suggestion.
  21. Yep there was a place in Taupo that a bunch of us stayed at at a Megameet... I wonder if I still have the infamous "branch" video hahaha
  22. If anybody is interested, I can forward you the details of my broker, and he can advise you of what he can do. Modified cars can get a bit messy, but anything that's not too far off factory (lowered, rims, exhaust etc) are fine. Send me a PM if you want some details.
