Cold weather causing V7 WRX fuel leak

Hi guys,

With the shitty weather we've had the past week and how cold its been, there's been a pretty strong smell of fuel on my V7 WRX after a drive.

Initially I thought it could be running rich due to the cold, but given the cat-conv should be doing its job, the stench was a bit too strong for me to feel comfortable.

Had a 'sniff' under the hood and found that the vapours were coming from under the intake manifold on the turbo side of the car.. near where the air intake pipe is.

So I did a bit of research and found out that this is a design flaw and in the States, Subaru is offering warranted fixes for this. (See links below).

What do you think I should do regarding this? Should I take it to a Subaru dealer and enquire?

Or should I pay to get this fixed. If so, how much do you think it would cost?

Oh crap, I've got a v7 WRX, but haven't taken it out lately.

Will be keeping an eye on this...

I've had plenty of Legacys with fuel seepage from the fuel lines under the manifold, but no Imprezas yet. The manifold needs to come off and have all the hose clips tightened.
