td06 20g?

hey guys im looking at getting a td06 20g as the title says. just wondering if any of use have had one of these on your car and what it goes like? the guy im thinking of buying it off said it was quite laggy compared to his vf 22 but that was on a standard motor. with mine running extractors and a possum link would it spool it up much faster? he said hes got 231kwatw with that one on running 18psi. what sort of power do u think mine would be running with sti motor, vf22, extractors, yellow top injectors and external running 15psi? just to compare the difference between the two

you could prob make similar power to what he has with the supporting mods dude.

vf22 can hit a little over 200kw atw with some work.

to be honest the diff between 200 and 230 kw atw wont be massive massive in most situations.

Id just get the car making a decent whack of power, with the majority of power useable throughout the whole rev range.

driveability is king imo

doesnt matter youll still need bigger injectors. its not about the psi in it cos 15psi in a vf22 isnt the same as 15psi in a td0620g.

correct me if im wrong. but thats how i understood it when i went from the 22 to the td0522g. Its all about flow.

If you wanna you could have a highly strung vf22 setup or put the td05 on it and retune to a reliable state that makes it driveable

could you fit the 22g in the factory mounting position tho? cos i dont want to have to do a twisted setup and this one fits in the original position

I find the td05 more driveable than the 22 funnily enough. drives nice and you just set the gain to where you want it on boost. The 22 didnt like it cos it was strung out where its well within the limit of the td05. BUT you have a good setup mate and youll be in the low 12s with a good drive.

Yeah it would of fit in the factory position. I just did it cos id never done one before and didnt wanna get a new turbo inlet pipe under the manifold

yeah ill probably just keep the vf22 but was just a thought of getting a bit more power but the way i see it, for the money im going to have to spend to get it running any good im going to have to spend more money than its worth. yeah man i will. what day suits you best?

yeah man thats all good. yeah considering mine only has a standard pump in it, its brand new but would still need to be bigger. if i didnt have to buy 2 engines for it then yeah i would have definatly done it but its cost me $6000 as it is since i got it

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
