turbo upgrade from vf8

whats a good bolt on upgrade for my 1990 rs from a vf8???

nah just the banjo's to suit the turbo, str8 swap as long as its got the 90' bend 8)

it would be fine but youll soon be wanting sti injectors/afm/ecu etc etc to run it properly...

pm matdaymon or search for deforester to show how this is done

I wouldn't bother swapping to a TD04 from a VF8; not really an upgrade.

i have a chipped ecu.....so id need orange afm and yellow injectors aye???

true but they generally have lower kms ( the one i had on gt had done 84.000km as opposed to 224,000 km on the vf-8)

if your after power gain go with the td-05h16g

A consideration if your VF8 needs replacing. Still not an upgrade.

Any VF series single scroll Turbo can be easily adapted to an RS, rather than a crusty old TD :

Same as the 90 degree bend on your VF8, except it is all of one piece and cast as part of the housing.
