it is a biggie if as he says iv got no oil pressure lol.

Noone friggin listning to the question so will ask someone tomorrow.

WTF?? But you'll have your lamco sender in the same hole, and a fricken gauge on your dash showing you the oil pressure!!

Unless you fit a tee to run both, but I've heard of tee's breaking on rough roads with firm suspension.... :-X

do you drive down the road looking at your gauges 100% of the time.

By the time i notice the gauge is down on pressure the motor will be fucked anyways.

At least if the light comes on its in my face although probably to late also...

I dont care iv got the gauge in front of me im asking how the ecu knows becaue factory without the gagues the switch is straight to the ecu.

Yes iv since found this out htat the oil pressure switch is wired straight to the light on the dash once it opens/gets enough pressure it earths out and switches the ligth off.

I thought the oil pressure went through the ecu for some reason.

As this is what i was talking to Dave about doing with the link

read my big post again, the black box allows you to remove the factory oil pressure switch and use the lamco pressure sender instead.

If the new oil sender has drops below the same point (2psi from memory) it will still make the oil pressure light on your dash show up.

Link sell a seprate oil pressure sender that gets plugged into a linear voltage input (0-5v) that can be used with the link but its around the $300 mark

Sweet, can you have it hooked up to the gauge AND the ECU?

Let me know the settings if you figure that out, that'll save some cash!

FYI You can remove the temp probe from the sump bung, you stuff the bung doing it though.

Mine had the wires broken off short so I removed it to solder new ones on, then mounted it the bung for the oil gallery above cylinder #3.

Then you dont have annoying wires getting in the way when you service it.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
