When ever i try to hit boost in the wet or after car wash the car runs like poos and does not want to play the game... ideas?

do you have a pod filter under an exposed bonnet vent?

nah, id say its a different problem

maybe try it, but my experience with turbos is they like a bit of water in the motor as it helps cool the intake charge, id say its making your intake charge too dense. which is making it missfire because of faulty coils/plugs

also how much boost are you running and how far till it hits boost cut if any?

inner plastic guard still there?

afm no likey water, even with standard box water WILL make it past the AFM/filter with no inner guard

Nah the inner guard thing is gone... i tried makn my own 1 but ran out of rubber to seal it 100%

there ya go - combined with bonnet vent

flap of tin under filter to deflects moisture down will do wonders

(undesirable side effect may raise intake temps a fraccy)
