Strange electrical problem

Got an issue with our 250T, it happens quite often that the dash lights and headlights will pulse, they get dim and bright, dim and bright, it also idles roughly when this is happening and occasionally stalls at intersections when its cold...

I've tried cleaning the airflow sensor, but it does sound like a servo motor or something similar is trying to work when it does it but I don't think its the idle air control, its coming from the drivers side front of motor... maybe its just noise from the belts as the idle changes... hmmm... also the ABS light sometimes comes on for no apparent reason... any ideas?

maybe a poor main earth connection or an iffy alternator. just guessing. check the solid looking connections on and around the battery

also check your crankshaft pulley is not loose !!!!!!! seen this a couple of times where people dont torque the pulley bolt after cambelt work ect, can **** your crank and pulley woodriff key

Pulleys are all good, had wondered about the alternator but it doesn't always do it so hmmm... best way to test it?

hey if u fixed it could u tell me how u did it???? mine is doing the exact same. i pretty sure it may be a faulty earth connection
