97 type r dccd light flashing

Help needed... does anyone know what to look for my dccd light is flashing and i cant seem to reset it... anyone had this before or know possible causes ???

my ones flashing but thats because i dont have the gearbox in it anymore

have you tried tracing the wires from the dash down to the control box down to the thumwheel and g/b? could be a wires come loose

no not yet... a while ago it did this and was suggested to pull hanbrake on rock in reverse on clutch then do handbrake stop going forward ... and this seemed to fix it.... Then our lovely mutt jumped between seats two days ago and rolled controller right forward to full lock while driving and now its just flashin green

in saying all this about dccd ... my dccd has started flashing on lowest setting ... does anyone know possible causes HELP ???

before buying that get yours checked properly first. the coil will have an impedance and you can measure the resistive component with a multimeter. i can find out the proper value for you today if you want
