anyone using m&h silicone intake??

just picked up my m&h silicone intake from sta parts....got home and wasnt very impressed with the "dags" on the inside were the pipes go on which were left inside from the mould...anyone elses have them in there??? ive trimed them back as good as i could but am still a bit peeved at this as i dont want them going through my turbo :'(

M&H are a reputable enough brand, but I don't think I'd trust their turbo intakes. Water hoses, yeah, but not that.

yea well each to their own opinion aye...it was 207 bux and better quality then all the ones iv seen except for the small dags.... cleaned them up though...its now on my car and its fukin huuuge...certainly bigger diameter... but its not a direct fit...had to mod the fuel hoses a bit lol but thats no issue

Certainly is each to their own opinion. It is one of the cheapest and more easily sourced local options anyway. I wouldn't think they are that bad, and probably fine for factory or just over factory power, but once you get up to 250kw+ you might want to start looking for stronger options offshore.

I wouldnt call them reputable anymore the quality of htere products of late has been pure and utter crap.

ive got one, mine had small dags on it 2, nothing 2 worry about, just pull them off and its sweet.

have fun fitting it too haha, what a mish

i didnt say it was shit i said it had dags on the inside and i wanted to know if anyone elses did... the quality of the pipe is good....and yea i did have fun fitting it haha it was a bit of a bitch cos its huuuge...turbo spool sounds way better tho and have alot less lag "spool time"
