How much would I be looking at for something that's got a fair bit of power, Mainly used for long road trips but still has grunt when it's needed.

Not after something for track use, But still something built to last.

Along with a manual conversion to boot lol

Actually to add to that, Would almost consider rebuilding mine, It's got 230k on it but I've test drove a fair few legacy and still haven't found one that runs as nicely as mine. - Stock might I add so people don't go having a whinge.

Hi Ichi Ban, looking for someone to do up a closed deck block,(which I have but has run b.e. after start up) I have vf46 to go onto it plus pink injectors, looking at getting GTB head also, looking at getting around 300kw if possible. Would you be interested , what would be the cost to build ? Cheers

What crank ,rods, pistons, exhaust etc you thinking of running?

You'll need to some serious work on the heads, ie porting and cams

What do you have to start with ? a blown engine or wanting to build from scratch ?

A basic SOLID rebuild to handle 250Kw is around the $8k mark, fully forged, balanced, Stud kitted

What's wrong with you engine?

hey ude i have a closeddeck block the has been honed but proberbly needs to be done again.and i have a 2.2l crank and rods. would love to see 500hp at the wheels..its still in the pipeline..but do you have any ideas mate as i have no idea what to do for pistons etc...

There are places in teh USA that will custom make pistons- yes pricey

But you can get exactly what you need
