Changing V5 STI Dash Colour

Is it possible to change the green to another colour? Is it just the bulbs or is it the actual templates?

If it is possible, is it easy to do?

you can get little condoms from repco that slide over the tiny bulbs in the back of the dash... easy as pie to do...

But surely if it's currently green when lit either the bulbs or the gauges are green? Covering them would get a turquoise?

Bulbs come factory with a green rubbery cover over them from factory. I removed them and put back into my cluster on the gtb and it was brighter but was a light green still.

I was just thinking that as i was driving home tonight, white would look good, it'll match my defi gauges

i've just pulled apart my spare dash and it uses normal T-10 wedge bulbs. the colour is in the backing film behind the speedo faceplate thingy's - it looks diffused too so not sure if normal coloured cellophane would work

yup, i concur. my bulbs have no condoms so yes, a film. Has anyone tried using the colored rubbers on these? Much success.

Other thing I noticed was the the warning lights only have 3 bulbs in there out of 6, is that normal?
