HKS air filter or K&N filter

I doubt you will notice a difference from either, but they will both do the same thing. HKS might flow better, but the K&N is reusable and washable.

It is fantastic, they are available for Subaru's and I can get them at a fair price

Like they K&N they are washable. They are dry type filter also.

Only use genuine subaru filters.

I used an HKS on my car for a while. It practically didn't filter at all, and ended up sandblasting the leading edges of my compressor blades... The turbo still goes fine, but it looks a state compared to when i put it in. Thanks HKS, thanks for fucking my shit up with your pathetic excuse for a filter.

yea i have always through original factory parts are better but i heard most people say that K&N and HKS filter are better for high performance cars, but they never really explain why
