Engine Light comes on

Hey whenever i drive long distances and i dont let the blow off valve go the check light will come on and it will sorta cut out untill you let it go anyone no the problem ?

Check Engine Light

Under the steering wheel, two black connectors. Plug them in, if the ECU is picking up a problem it'll flash. Refer to this thread for more info

cheers for that i found the two black connectors and pluged them in however the CEL light was not flashing it was just on ,Also i found these two plugs right next to the black connectors any idea what they may be for ?

Connect the the Black set and the Green for ECU reset

When resetting, drive the car over 11km/h until the CEL starts flashing at regular intervals.
