I'm looking for a set of adjustable suspension for me wagon, am after any recomendations for what to go with.

Have already got a couple of sets of Teins on other cars, so was thinking of going with something else for a change. Also was possibly looking at going with a set of XYZ shocks, anybody had any experince with these?

Thanks in advance.

i would stay away from the XYZ and other cheap brands such as D2's but I have heard good things about BC golds which seem to be a little less brutal than the teins and also are around the 1800 price so not quite as bad as the Top jap brands which push the 3k mark

My 2c

Was lookin at the Super Streets but was told they would only drop the car about 40mm max, idealy wanting to be able to further than that.

Can get them for cheaper than retail though, as with the XYZs, hence the reason I asked about them.

Aren't they essentaily rebranded BCs?

not too sure regarding the rebranding, however if you are looking to go MORE than 40mm lower I would be careful as the GD series Wrx's are known to have serious handling issues if dropped too low.

I guess at the end of the day if you KNOW that a brand is good (here I refer to the BC and Tein's) then is it really worth skimping on a couple hundred bucks for the sake of something that MIGHT be as good or MIGHT be total bollocks.

I mean you wouldn't have brought your WRX if it was a re branded 20N model with all the parts swapped would you?

Ive got Tein Super Streets and they are Shi* they dont even drop. Ive had 3 sets of teins as they always f%^& themselves. I dont reccommend them at all. Im currently on teins with camber plates in the front and superstreet FRONT STRUTS in the BACK.

This drops car 4-6 inches wound the hole way up (handles mean ) BG5 legacy.

On 18" wheels with 215/40, 7 1/2 inch wide the wheel arch totaly covers the tyre and with 4 people (3" of wheel tucking) when under boost the 3" drags and occationally the diff smashes the ground - but with two people no scapping or anything and not to bouncy.

Best bet is BC golds. Ive got a set in the Sivia and I would never look back (3 years and still mint). Also heard that D2 series two Is awesome

To true, I wasn't looking at going el cheapo and ruining the car after paying decent money for it in the first place (something which annoys me and you see far to often ;))

Just checking out my options is all.

fair enough bro. just checking that you actually wanted advice rather than a confirmation of a decision that you had already made :P

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
