Oi! that build diary wasn't meant to be useful!

Really wouldn't go past fitting some Version 7 WRX/Sti shocks mate, best thing I ever did for handling other than fitting a larger rear sway bar.

Version 7 and I think 8 struts bolt straight up with no modification needed to your car, and because they are factory subie gear you dont need a cert

There is usually a couple of sets on trademe at any one time, usually pricing from $200 - $500.

Lowering Springs are OK but are a prick to fit and take time to settle, with using the above its plug in (then go get wheels aligned) and play. Look at fitting an STi Rear sway bar for added handling awesomeness.

Lowers the car a fair amount, but not heaps so your fozzie is still useful at the end of it all.

some v7 sti struts with pre modified brake mounts that have previously been on a forester and are in good condition will be on trade me\here in the next month (pending the universe not stealing all my hard earned cash!)

better yet, take them out 8) youll be the envy of everyone
