Silicon hoses to suit TT

1)Be patient ;D

2)Leave the clamps clamping the silicone onto the actual intercooler loose so you can move the silicone round until everything is fitting right, then tighten. Especially the pipe leading to the primary side turbo. This avoids having to take the intercooler off if you tighten them up, then try and fit the intercooler back on, only to find that the don\'t quite line up with the turbos ( I found this out the hard way )

3)Measure twice, cut once.

These were the things I found when putting them on my car.

Only took me maybe 30mins to do, but ive attacked that intercooler many times before.

On a twin turbo.... with looks of $%^& like words haha. ;D

You\'re so right - easy to remove, pain in an arse to put the bloody thing back on.

Did it yesterday - took me 3 hours and heaps of fff words, the result wasn\'t perfect (was all right, just not up to my standard)

Redone it today, much faster - trimmed and realigned, plus replaced a TMIC to throttle body pipe with a silicone as well. Am happy now 8)

Hey man what hoses did you use and does your car feel much faster?

I used those sold on TM by Alltech Diesel & Turbocharger Ltd - I\'m not an expert but hoses looked decent to me, very good customer service too (thanks to Jason).

Hell yeah, it\'s like twice as fast now ;D
