Differences between Tein Super Street & HA suspension

Hi all,

Looking at upgrading my current suspension (factory sti struts with dobi springs) to some aftermarket adjustables.

Looking to purchase second hand if possible as I don\'t have a lot of funds. Is there any major differences between the Tein Super Street & HA suspension platforms?

What\'s Cusco like as a brand in comparison to Teins?

Does anyone have any adjustable suspension that they\'re looking to get rid of?

some HA and HR models dont have adjustable dampening.

super streets are a model released in NZ while HR/HA are usually from japanese imports

they can all be rebuilt in NZ though, autolign can even install adjustable dampening on stuts that dont have it

So there\'s no major difference between the NZ release and jap import ones? Do they all come with adjustable tophats or are they at request?

Not 100% sure but ive got non dampning import ones on mine. hr\'s i think, theyre good but im running factory top hats. the springs are probably 5/6 kg at a guess. good on the street.

Apparently "Roascoes Subaru Parts\' in Ashburton had some Cusco adjustabel suspension for sale second hand recently. Unsure of the model etc but look them up on Google and give them a call, $500 from what I heard.

They also had some ohlins for a bg for $600

Keep an eye out here, they get some ridiculously cheap stuff come through at times but only sell it through the website
