help needed please

Hi everyone im after a bit of info if i can ive got a 95gt fwin turbo wagon with a blown motor im looking a puting a single turbo wrx engine in is there any issues that i may run into with doing this or would it be just as easy to sorce another twin turbo engine. Any help would be appreciated Greg.

there will be no problems if you get a crashed wrx and swap the loom and computor and every other sensor the wrx had..

Being a 95 I'm assuming its going to have a 4-plug ECU. You could buy an STI engine and ECU and use 3 of the 4 plugs to make it go. Need all the sensors etc on the STI and the AFM to make this work and have to re-wire the 3 plugs to make it go put it is possible.

Putting a WRX motor of the same age in is a waste of time in my opinion. Lots of work for no gain whatsoever!

Either way you can get away without having to re-loom the whole thing as this is a near impossible job as Subaru decided to integrate the engine loom with the body loom so if you swap you have to also swap dash etc aswell.
