v3 sti top boost

just checking up on my car, have a v3 sti, no mods apart from new b.o.v and a k&n panel filter. Have had the engine rebuilt and a new v7 sti block put in. no sensors replaced, i know that before i bought it the air flow sensor had been repaired and i think its almost time for a new one.

Just wondering about my boost, has done it even before i got any of the engine rebuilt.

spikes up to about 18 psi and sometimes sits there, otherwise it drops down slightly and floats on around 15-16.

normal? any sort of sensor that could cause this? ecu not doing a good job of controlling set boost?

pretty normal. its when is spikes higher that u got holy shit!!!!! ;D

i hope when you rebuilt the engine things like o2 readings etc where checked
