Subaru Impreza WRX 2001 Sedan Car Manual Wanted

Hi, Could someone please set me on the right path. I need a manual for Impreza Wrx 2001 sedan or something that shows the above car factory standard/specs etc. Needed for certification guy, ideally the factory specs concerning front end, bumper/front bumper reinforcement area. Thanks!

Strange I wouldve thought the cert guy would know if anyone would. Has the front been chopped up for fmic or something? Exactly what do you need to know about that area?

Yes I to was thinking the same thing but he said he ain\'t dealt with this type of car and was wanting a diagram or the likes so he can gauge what can and can\'t be chopped etc to be granted cert. Yes it is for FMIC so needing diagram for frontal area, front reinforcement bumper/bumper area.

The issue of fitting front mount intercoolers and the associated problems with getting this modification certified is of interest to clubsub members..

As it seems that the certifiers interpretation of the regulations can be variable it would be handy if you could keep us informed as to how you progress.

Photos of your mods and the results of discussions with you certifier would be of interest..

I had a read and pre 1999 is a lot more lax. Im december \'98 registered \'99 so in the clear. I had this conversation with my cert guy he said panel steels fine but cant fuck with bumper iron or mounting etc. Anything that effects the crumple zone.

Thanks, I sure will let you know the outcome, may be a while though.

He told us with some you can take a little bit here and there out and so forth but wants to see a front assembly diagram of the car in factory spec before saying/guessing? what can go etc.
