Anyone tried Ezy-Flash Pro ECU flash?

Anyone tried this thing, or know anyone who has? Sounds interesting, if expensive. Maps for different fuels, a valet mode and an anti-theft mode, and it plays nice with SI Drive. A little bit cheaper than a dyno tune, and you can send logs off to a tuner for remote tweaks.

I see you can also buy it with third-party tunes (http://www.chiptorque.com.au/ezy-flash-pro/). I like the idea of being able to tweak and change the flash, or return it to stock without taking it back to a tuner. Downside is the default maps are for a stock vehicle and changes to a modified car would need to buy some additional software.

Given the device itself costs about the same as a professional reflash, and isn\'t, it\'s a bit of a false economy

There are members on here who have the cables & knowledge to give a relatively good reflash of an ecu for much much less (if they even ask for money to do it)

Let alone the logistics of trying to tune remotely and how hit and miss an off the shelf tune can be

I don\'t know the ins and outs of your car (I\'m guessing relatively late model?) but in my view having one good tune - do it once do it right sort of thinking - and if you ever neeeeeeded to return it to stock trim (not sure why but hey) then again, it\'s likely something able to be done by a local or even the original tuner if you paid someone pretty quickly and easily

Fair enough. Giving it a little more thought, I think the fact the maps only apply to a stock car also makes it a bit of a waste of money in the long run.
