AFM upgrade

Hey there I have a 94 bg5 ej20h im running a slightly bigger fuelpump and 550cc yellow sti injectors with a semi parallel turbo setup, forged pistons and rods and a little extra boost, but with the standard ecu. My k&n air filter leaked oil onto my afm, so i\'ve switched to an apexi dry filter and i was going to replace the afm.

My question is when getting a new afm are there any upgrade options that will play nice with the standard ecu?

Im not worried if i hav to do a bit of wiring or repinning the plug, just dont want to replace the ecu or loom til i do an ST conversion.

Changing your fuel pump wont effect anything. Any change in injectors and afm they both need to match your ecu tune. A little extra boosty and slight comp change you will probably get away with. Btw the yellow side feeds are 440cc and phase 2 seem to make a little more power than phase 1 440cc.

AFM, injectors, turbos etc are things you need to tune for if you change or they will never play nice.

Thanks. Fuel pump made a huge difference considering the 1 it replaced didnt pump fuel. Having said all that are there any tt ecu\'s i could that would make a difference? I\'m pretty sure its an R6 in it now, blue sticker anyway. Im guessing not due to compression differences. Theres no problem with how the cars running or anything, its smooth, cheap on gas, beats b4\'s and keeps up with/sometimes passes sti wrxs, so im not really after more performance or anything, more a learning thing for myself, see what parts i can frankenstein together to get what results. One thing i would like to fix is the VoD that i\'ve nearly got gone, only drops 4-5psi when it opens up i/c valve now. I know really the only way is ST conversion but thats boring.

Re; AFM - nothing is an "upgrade" but what would be would be removing the 550s and putting the 440s back in

They run pig rich stock, it will now be running even more so and likely making less power than before, the factory ecu keeps them still at like 10:1 even with mucho psi being thrown into the mix and adding 25% on top won\'t be helping

Short answer just get another stock one haha

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
