Alarm - mongoose - lost constant 12v?

Hiya,

My cars alarm has/was been working just fine until randomly refusing to arm the other day - clicked the button heaps, armed, happy mark walked away

Disarming was the same story, and I havent been able to arm it since

Investigating - the LED goes dead when key goes off (normally it flashes at you when the car is turned off, now it fades away and dies). When key turns on, it immobilises the car, I have to arm & disarm it to carry on, no problems after that.

Fob works fine to lock & unlock the doors, but only if the key is on. Key off = nothing works.

I\'ve looked for any sort of dud wiring or inline fuse, can\'t find a thing.

Best bet = go see a pro before I break something more? Car is entirely driveable right now and still immobilised, just no alarm as such until its started.

So have you found the fuses and checked them or are you saying you can\'t find the fuses?

Should there be one buried in there somewhere?

Should be 4. Will be one for each indicator channel and one battery and one ignition.

Sounds like symptoms of a remote battery but if the led is fading out then you could be right on the money.

Depending what they\'ve used as a battery feed it\'s possible that the circuit they\'ve used has blown its fuse meaning no alarm power
