Ok, so i\'ve done a bit of searching but cant find exactally what i\'m looking for.

So i baught a tx BH about a year ago, not wanting to buy someone elses problems (a thrashed POS), but am getting frustrated with how gutless it is. The car is really tidy and i\'m not really keen selling it to buy a turbo leggy.

What i want to know is what engines would bolt straight up to the trans and use the same engine mounts? Its an auto, i do alot of stuck-in-traffic driving, and i want to keep the \'box if possible. I know i\'d obvesouly need a new loom and ECU so i would be looking at a front cut/repower-package. So my question is which engines would bolt up? Ie bellhousings match the SOHC NA auto box. And also will the auto \'box work with an engine (and ECU) designed to run with a manual/triptronic trans? I work with euros and know the engine ECUs are auto/manual specific as the engine and trans computers communicate.

Ps. Im looking at turbo engine swaps, and prefurrably single turbo.

You have the worst base - an auto non turbo - which youll be swapping both trans and engine, then still be left with waterbed spec suspension & brakes and need to still go get it certed

For the $ you could just buy a good BH turbo, swap the manifolds to single, and you\'re done

(edit - whoops didnt read the "I want to keep it auto" bit - that makes the argument even stronger, auto legacies are a dime a dozen seriously)

This is the sort of conversion they do over \'merica way coz they dont have options on cars like we do. You could sell your car for 3k odd and pick up a GT-B for similar money. Its gonna be 10x the car and going from what you have now it probably wont need single turbo or anything else to make you a whole lot happier.

the NA box has a torque converter that is 25mil smaller and doesnt match up, found that out last week. the Engine will drop straight in. doing the gearbox change with the motor is a piece but make sure your diff is matching to the gearbox. the axles are all matching for all BE, BH chassis as long as the box is out of a BH/BE. there is a whole and any needed whole already on the firewall. also when the conversion is done there are some wires that are needed for the turbo so get a full loom to match the motor and ECU

hopefully that helps. im going through a similar conversion just with a fully built motor and 6 speed box

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
