Possum Link advise

So a Possum Link has surfaced on TM that will suit my WRX.

Excuse my ignorance, but what can I expect (power, economy...?) by swapping out the computer for aforementioned unit? And what is involved? Can I plug and play or do I need someone to do the once over once it\'s on board?

I\'ve got a 97 JDM spec model (VF22 turbo) and it\'s completely stock w/relatively low k\'s. I\'m keen to keep it that way but I am receptive to messing about with the ECU as it\'s fairly non invasive.

I\'d appreciate any input, I\'m not completely inept with these things but it\'s been a long time since I\'ve mucked about with engines and most my experience is with carby wankels

Make sure its laptop tuneable. If its the correct version for your car it will plug and play but will DEFINITELY need a tune afterwards costing $600-1.4k. Good gains can be had with economy and power. If youre keeping the rest of the car relatively stock a possumlink would be a good choice. If youre going to go mental with it its not. If its under $600 grab it quick it\'ll disappear fast.
