BH5 rear diff mounts

Who has had these replaced and where did you go? Don\'t suppose its a DIY job? I originally got quoted like 2-300 for solid mounts - horrible I know but cheap. But now been told $600 which seems a bit steep. $800 for nolothane. Don\'t really want to spend that much on a cheap car

I wouldn\'t solid mount it. $600 seems a bit much.

It\'s a prick to change yourself, May be ok with a rattle gun & then get a shop to press in. Need to drop rear subframe depending on how your going to do it, which involves a lot of nuts and bolt that have never been undone from factory.

I took the subframe out when I put in the Whiteline set. Cut out the old ones and made up a puller type thing to get the new ones in using a rattle gun.

I\'ve seen another guy just chop the s*** out of the old bushes with what ever he could find, then used a hack saw to cut through the old race/case till it could be knocked out, then used Powerflex "PFR69-123BLK" (2 piece bush) so he didn\'t have to press the new ones in.
