n/a becuase ( insert teenage phrase on how parents dont trust me ) i dont really think i need a turbo....yet because the plan of it would be engine swap at somepoint with a nice sti motor.

mainly it will be used for a daily driver and maybe some "legal" street races but also track car because i wouldnt mind getting into rally or track racing hence the awd subaru because i love subaru and awd is just best.

the n/a's of that age tend to use about as much fuel as the turbo's, and seriously don't even consider turbing it. you are in for a whole world of hurt in relooming etc etc, massive headache and expensive as hell.

imho, keep it until your parents are happy, then sell it and buy a turbo'd model, if thats what floats your boat. looks tidy though

haha thanks so i guess the legacy is a winner so if want to get a turbo one would a nice gc8 be a good option or a bugeye impreza be good too because the newer legacys dont tend to my tastes i prefer the imprezas but wanted a legacy as a starting point

i agree with the bugeye imprezas, not just because i have one, but from a logical sence.

yearly warrants, retunable stock computers, sooo much more refined than the gc/gf imprezas

peopel always say the bugeye is ugly but i find it to be beautiful one of my favorite imprezas

Yes correct about bugeye beauty. The styling was 15 years ahead of its time and only coming into vogue now. Just take a look at current 911's , they are all bugeyes. Subaru were just ahead of themselves back in 2000. Future classic!
